Pete Edochie Reveals Difficulty Walking, Recurring Swelling

Veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie, has opened up about his current health challenges, revealing that he is experiencing difficulty walking and recurring swelling in different parts of his body.

The actor spoke about his condition during a visit to Ghanaian actor Emmanuel Armah in Accra, where he went to offer support to the ailing Ghanaian actor.

Edochie disclosed that he is currently unable to walk properly and has experienced swelling that affects different parts of his body at different times.

He explained that his hand was swollen during the visit, while the condition sometimes affects his leg before eventually reducing.

Despite the challenges, the veteran actor said he remains hopeful that he will recover.

Edochie also expressed concern about becoming a burden to those around him because of his current physical condition.

He said, “Sitting down here, I’m not very well myself. I’m not walking, that is a problem for me now, but I still have hope that I will recover myself.”

He added that the swelling sometimes appears in different parts of his body, noting that his hand was swollen at the time of the visit but could later affect his leg before subsiding.

The veteran actor also appealed for support and assistance, saying he did not want his condition to place an undue burden on the people around him.

Edochie’s disclosure has drawn attention to his health, with the actor maintaining that he remains hopeful of recovering from the challenges affecting his mobility and causing the recurring swelling.
